INTUITIVE VIDEO MIXING CONSOLE AND PERFORMANCE TOOL.

The NuVJ allows DJs to incorporate images and video clips in much the same way as mixing music. With the NuVJ, the VJ can trigger images and video clips, add effects to them, mix them through an onboard DJ style crossfader and tweak them in order to create unique and spectacular shows. The hardware controller works seamlessly with existing DJ gear and the software is compatible with most computers and laptops.

The NuVJ integrates tightly with the accompanying Arkaos custom software and is designed to work intuitively in the same way that DJs mix music. The software package includes a library of video clips and over 30 real-time video effects. The NuVJ is simply easier, more versatiile and more affordable than any other VJ product on the market.

Arkaos v1.50 software for NuVJ adds a new, multi-threaded engine along with a new internal codec for optimal decompression of several video formats including QuickTime Photo-JPEG, DV, MPEG. With this new update users can now deinterlace video clips with a right click option. New loop editing functionality, enables users to edit the loop length of their clips and movies on the fly

A new Flash player has been added with audio-reactive Flash animation support and input gain control, which is useful for generators, audio-reactive flash and BPM detection. Input gain controls make beat synchronization easier than ever.

The upgrade also features advanced luminance/chrominance keying controls, 11 new effects and a new visuals panel that displays the movie player involved, the codec, the resolution. Mac users can also achieve high-resolution input support, improved DV camera quality, and the ability to play multiple DV cameras at the same time.
